1st March 2018 - Dydd Gwyl Dewi Hapus. Llangiwg is a haven for wildlife and a breathin. Patrons - Dame Sian Phillips and Sir Roy Strong. Years Eve and the visit was enjoyed by all, young and old, with song, recital and a misbehaving horse! A much appreciated tea buffet was provided by the Friends who volunteered to provide sandwiches, cakes, goodies and their time to make it such a success. To be advised in due course.

The Pontypridd Canal Conservation Group was formed in 2010 and has been steadfastly working towards the restoration of the only remaining double-lock system on the Glamorganshire Canal. The PCCG comprises those from the Pontypridd area with an interest in the restoration and also supporters from the wider canal community, including those with specialist knowledge.
